Hannah Koby is pursuing a Master of Music in Organ at the Cleveland Institute of Music, studying with Todd Wilson. She has spent significant time studying and performing in Germany, most recently as Church Music Intern at the Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany, the birthplace of the Lutheran Reformation. Hannah currently serves as Organist & Choirmaster at St. James Anglican Catholic Church in Cleveland.

Todd Wilson, organist, and Pam Kelly, cellist, played a spectacular Valentine's Day program, preceded by cupcakes and punch made by Janet Blackstone.

Shubert's Winterreise

Corey Shotwell, tenor, and Gerardo Teissonnière, piano, faculty of the Cleveland Institute of Music performed Schubert's monumental song cycle Winterreise, in a setting of a "parlor" as with the original performance, with accompaniment played on an Austrian piano.

A Benefit for our Youth

Concert to support Lake Affect Arts, a 501c3 nonprofit whose mission is to strengthen musical education in Cleveland schools. Performances by Garrett Law, organ, Thomas Stuart, violin, Merav Eldan, mezzo soprano premiering work by Zachary Whitney.

The Hungarian Cultural  Garden is among 35 gardens (when completed) in the Cleveland Cultural Gardens situated along East Blvd and Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive in Rockefeller Park. Artists for this 2017 benefit are Karel Paukert, organist at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Cleveland Heights, and pianist Lucia Marko.

Todd Wilson demonstrated the instrument and Dr. Blackstone discussed the architectural design of the music space and recounted the history of this new 137-rank, 7400-pipe new instrument designed, voiced, and finished by John Hendriksen with pipes by Tom Anderson. Michael Petrosh played .... for pedal organ. This was be followed by "open console" for Erie AGO members at this truely 21st century Aeolian-Skinner pipe organ.

Vincent Dubois held a master class for Todd Wilson's Cleveland Institute of Music organ students Michael Petroch, Garrett Law, and David von Behren.  Director of the Conservatoire and the Académie supérieure de musique de Strasbourg, and titulaire of the grand-orgue of the Cathedral in Soissons, Vincent Dubois won the 2002 Royal Bank Calgary International Organ Competition. The master class included:

Bach: Fantasia and Gugue in G minor (Garrett Law)

Messiaen: Dieu parmi mous (David von Behren).

Inaugural Concert

The inaugural concert for the Blackstone Residence Pipe Organ, Todd Wilson, organist,  was held as part of the New Years Eve party, jointly held at the Fleischman and Blackstone residences on Breezy Bluff, Bratenahl, Ohio.the Design tab in the property panel.
